The distance between Aurangabad and Ellora by road is 28 kilometers. The trip is a pleasant drive that takes about 40 minutes. Three roads lead from Aurangabad to the Ellora Caves, each with its charms.
There are three main ways to go to Ellora from Aurangabad. That first one goes through Aurangabad-Malegaon Road, Aurangabad-Nandgaon Road, Aurangabad-Nashik Highway, Dhule-Solapur Road, and NH 752H. It also goes by Daultabad Fort.

• Kailas Temple

4 Daulatabad fort

5 bibi ka maqbara
Aurangzeb was one of the most wicked Mughals who ruled India. He built Bibi-ka-maqbara, a tomb that looks like the Taj Mahal, for his favorite queen, Dilras Banu Begum. It’s also called mini taj. When you go there, you can see another side of him: that of a family man and a devoted husband, which was pretty rare at the time!

6 Panchikki
A watermill called Panchakki is kept in the dargah of Baba Shah Musafir. It is a fantastic piece of building from the Middle Ages. The Panchakki, constructed in the 17th century and surrounded by a large pond, was used to generate hydroelectric power for mills that turned grain into flour for travelers who came to the area.
Situated at approximately 3 kilometers from Bibi Ka Maqbara, the drive there will take 10 minutes.

7 Siddharth Garden and Zoo
The Garden is beautifully planted and right in the busy city. The area is great for relaxing because it has interesting topiaries and many trees and plants. Going to this park’s small zoo is an important thing to do in Aurangabad, especially if you’re traveling with kids who are tired of caves. The zoo has big cats, crocodiles, hyenas, deer, and other animals. A small pond with turtles and different kinds of fish is also fun to look at, as is the singing fountain that kids love.

8 Soneri Mahal

9 Aurangabad Caves
The Aurangabad caves are twelve Buddhist sites cut into the rock. They are on a hill that runs roughly east to west. In the sixth and seventh centuries, the Aurangabad Caves were carved out of basalt rock, which is pretty soft. The caves are split into three groups based on where they are located.
